John Wood is best known for his role as Senior Sergeant Tom Croydon from the television series Blue Heelers. This time, John will be arriving in Erinsborough for six months to play the very serious Doctor Martin Chambers, alongside newcomer Dr Rhys Lawson played by Ben Barber.
"We’re all thrilled to welcome John to Ramsay Street for what is going to be a great story,” said Susan Bower, Neighbours' Executive Producer.
John starts filming next week and will be seen on Channel 11 from September.
