Fans of Dean will be devastated to hear the news of his departure from the street where he plays resident musician Ty Harper.
“I’m in love with acting,” he said. However, it is his love of music that inspires his career ambitions the most. He has expressed his reasons for leaving Neighbours is purely down to having more time to release his second CD, which he says will be much more vibey than his first, with electro influences.
Although it's not fun to see Dean leave the Street, we have to admit the music industry will be a better place with his talent in it and we wish him well and hope his journey truley rocks!

Sadly, another one of Erinsborough's hottest boys will be leaving the set of Neighbours. Our favourite resident muso Dean Geyer has announced his plans to leave the Street to devote his time to what he loves even more than acting itself..... music!
